Not just your own domain, but multiple of your domains, your clients' domains... even that one friend's domain. Then sort them into groups so you can find what you need quicker.

On Custom Cloud, you add "entities", assign each a name, logo, and color, and then group your domains accordingly.
Google Drive is great for file sharing if you have a Google account. It will not host your website or create redirect links, nor will it allow you to share direct stream or download links to specific files (necessary if you need a CDN).
You definitely can, but if your goal is just to host static websites and files, you are essentially using a sledgehammer on a nail. The amount of bloatware you're sifting through just to manage a simple task would be inconvenient and even frustrating.
You can use Cloudflare Pages and R2 to do the same thing we do (in fact, that's what powers our app!). However, the amount of time you'd need to spend on initial configuration and recurring diagnosis of unexpected issues is likely is not worth it unless you're a developer, with a lot of patience.
Short.io is fantastic for redirect links, but cannot host websites or other files. When you have redirect ability in the same dashboard like with Custom Cloud, that means you can put redirects, files, and websites, all on one domain rather than pointing DNS records to multiple different services, for multiple separate subdomains.
